Which map to make next?

I just finished off my map of the Sea of Orrida, which would be posted sometime in Summer, and I'm considering which region I should concentrate on next.

The above map shows which areas have already been mapped (in dark grey) and I've grouped all the remaining nations into regions that roughly correspond with Elyden's subcontinent. Each of the options of the poll will not be for a single map, but it will decide which general region I start working on next. This will include a bunch of other options for nation maps, which I'll put up on another poll once this one concludes.

I'm giving all patrons at the Acolyte Tier and higher a chance to vote - so let me know which region you'd like to see in map-form next!

Below are some quick overviews of each of the regions:
1 - Western Llachatul: only a couple of nations left to do here, one of which (Raong) is amongst the larger nations in Elyden and is a constitutional monarchy that is divided into many territories in a form of oligarchic neo-feudalism.

2 - Eastern Llachatul: mostly an inland desert there are a lot of nations left to do, particularly in the more hospitable north east.

3 - Western Meniscea: I've not touched this continent yet outside of a handful of small colonies so this would all be new territory. This region is temperate-cold and has various large to huge nations.

4 - Southern Meniscea: this is the Firmamental equivalent of Kharkharodontis - a land dominated by the magical font through which the Firmament enters Elyden. A large part of this area is dominated by magnetically-influenced  wastelands where bones turn to stone, making it inhospitable to mortals. Of course this means that mortals have found a way to make money and bring industry to these regions :) there are lots of small nations here, many of which are either tropical or dominated by firmamental deserts.

5 - North eastern Meniscea: similar to eastern Asia, this area is dominated by two huge nations. Xyrphaat is the remnant of the Xyrphani empire that dominated all of north eastern Meniscea until around 250 years ago and has since crumbled into small states and city states that are as often enemies as they are allies. Areraqth lies to its north and much of its present-day southern territories emerged from the disparate cities that the Xyrphani empire left behind. Imeal is divided from these nations by a large mountain chain, though its north and south border two wildly differing seas - one polar and the other temperate

6 - South eastern Meniscea: home to many smaller nations, ranging from dry in the south to temperate in the north, this is probably closest to the nations I've already made in terms of size and climate.

7 - Western Sammaea: jungles, deserts and vast nations with great empty expanses, western Sammaea is home so some of the most exotic nations in Elyden.

8 - Southern Sammaea: culture here is concentrated around the Sea of Krihiek - an inland sea that is similar to the inner sea - a hub of culture and different nations that exist in a temperate climate.

9 - Bror: the island-continent of Bror. Many have asked me about this land and I've never given a straight answer so far as I don't know much about it myself, though once I do start working on this region I do want its cultures to be as different from those of the supercontinent as they can be.

10 - Other: anything else in mind? let me know here!

Comments

I'm on the other hand not too surprised. Every other option is just another part of the great continents. In comparison, just looking at the map and from and outside perspective, Bror is the most unique and most isolated, which is probably why it piques so many people's interest. Even mine.

Yes, I'm quite surprised as personally it's probably the region I'm least interested in - not to say I'm not interested in it. far from it. but I just prefer working on places close to the Inner Sea. But I'll honour any option that wins! I'm pretty sure it'll be Bror, unless there's a massive upvote in the lower tier voting over the coming days.

Man, people are super intrigued by Bror aye. It's like the Australian of Elyden. XD
