the Elyden Primer
Added 2023-04-02 15:55:16 +0000 UTCA lot of people ask me about certain things regarding Elyden - things that I might take for granted but have forgotten not everyone might have been around for when I mentioned them in passing 10 or 15 years ago!
So, I present to you an introduction to the world of Elyden.
It contains some simple details on the geography and physical nature of the world, particularly where it differs from the real-world, as well as a short history, from the creation of the univers to the more recent events surrounding the Manumission of the Clones. It lists for the first time on my Patreon the 22 mortal races and other denizens of the world.
The heart of the document is an overview of the world - the themes and some general details that are universal to all of Elyden and no culture in Particular.
I also took the time to include some details that I'm often asked - what's the technology like? What races are there?
I do plan on adding a large section to the end with rules for the Cypher System that will allow people to roleplay in the world of Elyden. This will include rules for character creation, 'races', monters, and adventure hooks, campaign ideas and eqipment.
