The Korachan Gazetteer #2 - the Hole in the Wall pub
Added 2021-01-05 07:29:08 +0000 UTCanother excerpt from the WIP Gazetteer, this time describing a rather unique pub in the capital city of the Korachani empire.
You'll notice it mentions common, uncommon and rare knowledge. This is to incorporate the knowledge into a campaign or adventure without using rules. every system has ways of determining how much a character knows (knowledge checks, intellect rolls etc.) and this is a way of showing what characters might know without resorting to specific rules.
The line-work on the art was done by the Forge, and you can expect to see some more designs from them in the future, thanks to your support. I added some colours myself for this update - the Gazetteer itself will be black and white.

that was a website, but unless you had a paid subscription the book only lasted for 30-days or so. to be honest I cant remember what the site was, or if its still around. the main goal with the gazetteer is to get as much info to page as possible so that I can make a PDF available to patrons. as that's likely to take a while, I'll be sharing finished content as its made. content that I intend to have art for will be shared as art is finished. I'll hopefully have a few more pieces to share soon

I remember at one point you committed some of your content to a piece of software that made it look like a hoary old book, complete with page turns and so forth. Is that what you are doing with the Gazetteer? What is that software, anyway?
