Elyden Random Plots #1
Added 2018-12-01 20:00:06 +0000 UTCI'm going to be trying something new in December - posting a random plot line every-day based in the world of Elyden, with character archetypes that feel at home there, and events befitting the world, in locations that I have spent years detailing.
These are going to be quick, short and just a taster of what full plots are possible. Perhaps they can help spawn some ideas for short stories and even RPG adventures. Use them as you wish :)
So here's Random Plot #1 -
Disenfranchised guerrillas have damaged a crucial umbra pipeline in the frigid northern hinterlands of Almagest.
Nearby defences stationed outside the city of Picatrix have been scrambled to meet the threat, though they are too thinly-spread to deal with the multiple simultaneous attacks to act before the guerrillas disappear.
The threat of starvation in many northern cities has forced the Republic requesting the aid of eastern scavengers and untrustworthy Loudhan nomads to help deal with the threat. This has led to its own problems...
