The past week

When I was 15, during summer vacation and in the dead heat of July, my mother had a baby. When school started and I was always stuck babysitting and all my extracurricular stuff were dropped, the rumor mills spread that the baby was mine. Of course, he wasn't, but in retrospect, I find it amusing because I was a pretty straight-laced kid.

My relationship with my brother has been pretty minimal over the years, mainly due to the fact that I moved out when he was a toddler and we have a massive age gap. Anyway, long story short, my brother came to visit me in LA last week (he's still here). I have been absolutely shocked by how similar we are in so many ways. We have the same interests, the same sense of humor, enjoy the same weird music. Anyway, I don't have too much to say, I'm just blown away by how much genetics determine someone's personality. Something to stew on a bit. Its bedtime everyone.
