Busy bee

Good morning everyone! I am currently driving to San Diego, doing a talk to text blog, and am trying to go through the million things I may have left at home. Fortunately, I will only be gone for one night. I've been so busy this month! My birthday, birthday parties, dinners, work, work, my boyfriend's birthday is coming up in a few days, dinner with his family, parties, more work. Last week I had a new model staying with me. Her name is Dare. I was fortunate enough to get to shoot her, so at some point, I'll be getting photos out and I know you all will love her. She is an adorable petite brunette from Florida. This was an interesting experience for me because I tend to avoid models under 25 years old. It's not that they're terrible people or something, but young people tend to be a bit flaky and often prioritize partying over their job. Dare was not like that at all. She is more or less a workaholic, and I felt like I actually learned some things from her. 

These younger generations are so much better at social media and promotional material. Since I started in *cough 2004 cough* the industry has changed a lot. When I started, Myspace was new. No one saw it as a very serious tool for marketing. Now you can't even get a job in a music video unless you have 50000 followers on Instagram. I swear I need to hire a 19-year-old to run my social media for me. I still can't even figure out Reddit. I head to St Louis on Wednesday. It will be my 1st trip there, and I'm a bit nervous about it. I'm excited to see Kristy Jessica who will be sharing a hotel with me for part of the trip. I have a little more downtime there than I would like, so hopefully, I will find some good shopping to keep me occupied... Or at least catch up on some photo editing. Anyway, wish me luck in San Diego. I have 5 jobs in 2 days, it's going to be hectic. I'm going to stop for gas now and read this. I hope that it is not completely incoherent. Talk to text fails me a lot lol.
