Hey everyone,
I hope you all had a killer evening ringing in 2018 last night! Tell me about your fun parties!
Last night I ended up going to my local dive bar for karaoke, but I didn't know they were going to cancel karaoke, Instead they had a massive buffet of food. I spent the evening with good friends, chatting and hanging out. I had a whopping one sip of champagne at midnight, I made a new friend who does costuming at Universal Studios, I met a furry (okay, I don't think that was actually her intention), and then I came home and got my (slightly late) midnight kisses from my little dog and a little later, my boyfriend who had to work til 2am. Overall, I'd call it a successful night!
Do any of you do new year resolutions? I always hated them - truth be told, my father was so big on them that he would make my brother and I do them every year. We were too young to understand what they really were so we would just say things he wanted to hear "trying harder in school" "doing more around the house," then he would hold it over our heads for the next several months, haha. I'm sure you could see why I didn't appreciate these resolutions. As an adult (I guess that's what I am? lol), maybe I should try to make resolutions I actually understand. This year I want to work on being a healthier person. I need to go to the doctor when I'm sick, I need to get my back looked at (I've got a herniated disc that is causing problems), I need to take care of myself more. I need to take my vitamins and eat healthier foods. My other resolution is to work harder on my vintage resale/antique business. I have been selling on the side as a hobby to more or less fund my own wardrobe, but I want to get my resale license this year and get on the books with taxes (i'm not sure I make enough to justify it, lol) but at the least I'll be able to sell at more legitimate locations and can have a booth at the Rose Bowl more than 3 times a year. My other resolution is to do more photography. I have all of this equipment and I am always waiting til something inspires me, but I need to seek out inspiration. It isn't always going to be sitting in front of me waiting to be seen.
I want to thank you all for sticking around with me on my little page on the internet over the last year and change (and to new patrons as well!). I am so grateful for your interest in my modeling and photography and I hope you are happy with everything I'm putting out there. This is truly an extension of myself, and I am so proud of everything I'm creating here. I have been working hard on growing my photography skills, and I'll be sharing some of that with you very soon :)
Updates are coming up soon. I think that patreon is hung over from last night because the billing is still going though. Hopefully by mid afternoon we can get posts rolling.
happy new year,
much love
