Good chapter, one of the best yet. I’m not usually in this camp but I do wanna see Josh broken for some reason. This story is just so good at presenting an alternative universe. Josh had his shot and couldn’t hold it together but maybe now it’s Tobys time! It’s totally deranged and perverted but somehow it just seems right. He shoulda just dumped Kim when he had the chance after Toby and then with all her double dealing and sneaking around lately he shoulda tossed her ass again. That would be his only chance at redemption now. Of course - ain’t gonna happen.

He's an abusive psychopath (e.g., no capacity for emotion and focused on power and hedonism), which makes his thoughts a place I don't want to spend my time. Skimming past his parts ended up making this chapter weirdly repetitive. Once Kim gives in, I skimmed down and thought I'd accidentally gone to the part I'd just read, but it was another twist on it. I can't see myself hanging on for many more chapters. I enjoyed Kim's fall and Josh's new romance with Linda, but Toby kills everything he's around, including my interest.

As someone who sees myself as Josh, I really want to see Josh lose to Toby, but in a way where Josh is made to accept the truths about himself that he has been denying. That he is a submissive and a cuck and that while part of him hates it, another part of him craves being forced to submit. Toby will convince Kim to leave Josh for him. The thing is, if Toby and Kim get together I don’t see them maintaining a relationship. Yeah the sex is good but that’s the only thing really attracting Kim. That and cheating on Josh. The two don’t have anything in common, other than liking sex with each other. I feel like at first the relationship will be good with the two having as much sex as they want but then overtime that will get boring for them, at least for Kimberly. Toby is not Kimberly’s type which she has stated before. Also there personalities just clash to much. Kim is more outgoing and independent while Toby is more introverted but also very manipulative, controlling, and possessive. I can definitely see a future where Toby will try to control everything Kimberly does, which Kimberly won’t like. I can also see him constantly demanding sex which will impede on Kimberly’s life. Toby and Kim’s relationship right now is a toxic one, with the only value being good sex. If they stay together it will just get worse and probably turn into an abusive one. I’m not rooting for Toby and Kim but I’m not rooting for Kim and Josh to get together. That stopped the second Kim decided to be in contact with Toby.
