Added 2025-05-08 12:22:50 +0000 UTCHelloooooo. So, further to my post the other day, and some things we've been thinking about and discussing between ourselves for a while now, and from your feedback... we're going to be starting a new podcast.
Yeah, I know. Probably feels like it comes out of nowhere, but this is something we've been building towards for a while - even though we weren't always aware of it. Recent comments have catalysed what we were already thinking.
We LOVE making the new videos, but we appreciate that something can get lost amid the facts and the adventure and the traveling. And that something... is us. Us just being us.
I mean, we miss it too - we loved doing BYAMPOD, and we have enjoyed doing the Let's Plays - just that freewheeling, dicking around, the banter. Our relationship, basically. It'd be cosy content, in short. No real set agenda for them. Maybe some characters from time to time. Dunno. Wherever we decide to put them, it wouldn't be on the main channel. It would be its own thing.
What we're wrestling with now is how to do these regularly and without them being too time-consuming. It's easier for us to do an audio-only podcast regularly - and stick to it (BYAMPOD lasted a long time) - but we appreciate some of you would prefer video. So... we're looking at either doing this audio only, or audio AND video. If you could vote below, that would be brilliant. Thanking you!

I find that when a podcast also has a video option, I'll maybe have a nosy at one vid just to put faces to the voices, but revert back to audio. Unless there's a visual angle to the content, I don't think it's necessary. But good either way!
