TUESDAY BLOG: LOTS OF EXCITING NEWS! GUESTS! FILMING! BE IN DIGI!

Happy Tuesday!

We’re heading north today, to do filming. We’ll keep you updated with pics as we go, but we otherwise might be a tad quiet this week. We'll have Corner Shop Corner with you imminently - sorry it's taken a while, but we were working on the edit of Digi Live for the Kickstarter backers DVD.

The main ep we’re filming is a very different topic to the last few. I think we all need a bit of a breather after the relative heaviness of the Poland trip. 

The sea will be a big part of this episode - we’re taking a boat out onto the North Sea, for pity’s sake. Which all sounds like a recipe for disaster, as the sea terrifies me. You can't say we don't think big. There might even be a character or two in the video. I've bought a new wig.

Our schedule this time takes us from Derbyshire to North Yorkshire, and then next week, we’re doing more filming for the same video in a completely different bit of the country. As we’re going to be local to him, the splendid Ashens will be joining us - along with his better half… who’s a marine biologist. So, that’s exciting. My son might also pop up in the video, as he's joining us for today's filming.

I'm sure we'll find some time to film some exclusive Patreon-only stuff, as I've deliberately kept the schedule fairly loose to give us time and space to dick around like idiots.

I’ve also been putting together the graphics for a few weeks now. For the record: I did these by hand! I shared some with Dan Does yesterday, and he assumed I'd been using AI. I mean, I daren't, right?

The glacier below took me two days. Two. Damn. Days. It’ll be on-screen for roughly ten seconds. Yes, that sounds ridiculous, but it’s quite meditative. Another explanation is that I'm mental.

If you’re in the Biffo’s Brain tier, you’ll know we’re already putting together our Halloween special, and giving Patrons the opportunity to be part of filming in September. This is a way to get some of the Digi community together in lieu of our proposed Beanus Live Show - which for one reason or another probably won't happen this year, sadly.
