NOT EARLY ACCESS: 12 TIPS FOR COPING

Comments

Hi you two, hope you're both keeping well. Sorry it's been a while, I seriously need to catch up with everything I've missed. This month has been tough with work, car, family stuff, basically life! I've not had much chance for anything else, so I'm way behind again. I really love this video, as you know, me and my other half, know from experience, mental health is so important and should be talked about. We've both had our shares and ups and downs, with depression, anxiety, and grief, but after nearly 30 years together, most important thing for us is communication, it's hard to talk and start that uneasy conversation, but it's good for us, to get our feelings and thoughts out there and talk it over, before it becomes something much more harder. I like to do mindfulness tasks, like walking and photography, it relaxes my mind and I can switch off to the world and my thoughts for a while and it does help. Most people think it's about meditation, but it's about being present in the now, thoughts still come and go, but you can learn to relax and clear your mind again. It was a game changer when I heard about it 10 years ago, you still get worries and stresses from daily living, and we feel better for making time for mindfulness, even if it's for 5-10 mins a day. Anyway, hope you're both doing ok x 😊
