EXCLUSIVE CLIP: WE HAVE RETURNED...

We’re home! Hooooo boy. Everyone alright? Good good. Seems like we’ve been away forever, even though we only left on Monday afternoon.

It feels like we packed a year into the past few days. We got a LOT done though; three whole videos (maybe four, depending on how long one turns out – footage for that ep alone is probably about four hours… maybe more) - barring (of course) the editing, and possibly a couple of extra bits. We’ll see what we think they need once we watch back the footage. The first one, I hope, should be with you by the middle of next week.

‘Hilariously’, as I was packing the car on Wednesday morning – our first full day of filming – I put my back out. Hence, you can enjoy the sight of me being even more hunched over than usual during the next few videos. It was a pain the arse (technically, just above the arse). Still, being in constant pain did limit me, and there were a few more physical things (such as a return appearance from Leaf) which had to be dropped. Also… less footage than usual of me walking along looking around. But for the most part you won’t really notice the difference.

If you’ve seen our Instagram, you’ll have noticed we finally managed to shoot a video in Scotland (just about), but we’ll get back there for a more involved video sooner or later. Also Wales. Also Northern Ireland (Belfast!).

We got really lucky with some incredibly cheap deals on accommodation while we were away. We mostly ate from service stations (for some reason, Cumbria has astonishing service station food), and the biggest expense was petrol. Even the boat hire was pretty reasonable. The Lake District has been on my bucket list for years. Dunno why I’ve never been there, but I won’t leave it so long again. It’s truly stunning.

Anyway. That’s it. Quick update. Quick clip from our adventures in the Lake District.
