Our weekend plans were scuppered by Sanja’s cold/sore throat/cough refusing to bugger off, and then me coming down with the damn thing too. She's coming out the other side of it now, but I'm feeling at my worst today.
Given the last block of Digi Level 2 filming was done while I was pretty gosh-darn ill – yes, yes, it’s probably my body’s way of telling me to slow down a bit – I didn’t want to go into this new block feeling much the same way. Consequently, we’re postponing the filming by a week.
It’s not a baaaad cold, but bad enough that neither Sanja or I relished the thought of building the set, setting everything up, and then doing an entire day of performing.
On the plus side, if we start to feel better in the next couple of days, there should be a BYAMPOD, Writer’s Club, and regular Digi this week; I wasn’t sure we were going to be able to fit it all in, but now we should be able to. And there’ll possibly be a Biffo’s Brain on Thursday. We’ll see how we go over the next couple of days.
One way or another, we’ll get some stuff to you this week.
In other news… we started running an ad for Digi Live on Facebook over the weekend. I put it up with fairly low expectations, but it seems to have already had decent impact on sales. So, that’s nice. Looking at the stats, the ad has a higher-than-average click-through rate for some reason.
Anyway. I'm hooking some Lemsip up to an IV.

Ah sorry that Sanja is still not well and that now you have been struck down. Actually, only the other day I was hoping that the upcoming filming would go well, but more so that it wouldn't take its toll. Lately I've been reflecting on the past several years and how I've been put through the wringer of sorts., but - not to downplay things my end - it has been at least as bad given what you've told us about. Hopefully you can both get some rest and I'm sure we'd all understand if any given Digi-related thing can't happen this week. :)
