Apologies this has been a slightly lighter month than usual. It was a combination of me getting burnt out on that extra-long alien abductee video - which has done TERRIBLY for some reason!!! - going to the Marillion Weekend, Sanja getting Covid, and me being stuck in a writer's room all this week, which trampled my brain into the dirt (turns out it was a show about maths and numbers - the thing I struggle with the most in life - so it felt like I've been in a maths lesson all week).
Bit of perfect storm.
April should see things getting back to normal-ish. We've got Digi Level 2 filming in the middle of the month, but are hoping to do some regular content with Paul and Eli at some point. We're also working up to our next ep of Supernatural World. We know where we're going, and with whom. For once, we won't be in the woods.
It seems unlikely that we'll get a BYAMPOD done for Monday, as we're fast running out of time. But as I say, we'll be back on it next week. I have a clear run ahead, so we'll try to record Monday or Tuesday, which means you'll at least get it early. Likewise Writer's Club.
I think we're still on for Biffo's Brain next week, so put a pin in Tuesday evening.

The abductee video was probably just a bit too off the walls for many. It's a weird one but, your brain and the content you can produce across your many and varied interests, would suit a core channel with multiple branches. You've mentioned similar before. You see Digi as the core, with titles underneath it. I could see you as a writing house, with multiple people under the Digi brand, and able to call on your guidance etc to steer their content if needed. But of course that risks turning a hobby into work. I also feel YouTube is a bit chicken and egg since to get to that level of fame where you could do that, would mean having to build a single relatable core offering and release 10 mins videos every day to be noticed and pushed by the algorithm, into the homes of normies. One deviation from your core offering and you'll be told off. But it's a weird thing...you'd have to court that audience of millions, to whittle them down to the 10s of thousands of hardcore who will watch anything you produce.

2023-04-04 11:00:48 +0000 UTCHoping Sanja is better! I don't get why the Abductee video is doing poorly, it's its own weirdness, so I thought it was a great addition. Do you think you'll do a follow-up video, giving your own thoughts on the interview (in earnest, or in character)?
