EXCLUSIVE: BYAMPOD Ep 94 VIDEO EDITION!

This isn't beautifully edited, or lit, or anything like that - and you'll be able to spot some of my usually (ahem) seamless edits - but as we had to record on Zoom, I thought I'd share the video version of Ep 94 with those that are curious.

One of the highlights of my year was 2 minutes into this video where Paul explains to a visible sceptical PedAnthony that I am not a stalker ... :-)

Excellent excellent as usual. Having grown up living in Reading, the festival was a bit of a rite of passage. Admit it, you cant say you've really lived until you've seen someone try to chuck a deckchair at "fiddy" cent ;-) In latter years, the discovery that it was possible to do a "brown run" round trip from the main stage to the comfort of my own toilet within an hour, made the whole thing *far* more civilised!

I'll catch this one in a few days. I'll listen to the podcast tonight mind. I usually listen on the normal feed but I've got so many to catch up on it'll get pushed right back. Looking forward to this later.

Great episode again! I forgot to add my nickname, but Paul gave me the pseudonym β€œHamble” in honour of the (extremely creepy) doll

I have an excellent memory by the way ;) Marbles is $130 on Amazon… FEAR sounds amazing on vinyl, and there are some subtleties that are missed in my headphones. An Hour Before it’s Dark it is then :)

You'd think a man so pedantic as to have been nicknamed Pedanthony would put his camera in the correct orientation. πŸ˜„ In other news, I had a dream about Fish last week. Can't remember much, but I do recall he was irate about a blue, multi layer sponge cake (fish cake?) I'd made for him.

I did a quick bit of research on the Muse song too (Falling Away With You) and it was first played live in 2002. Interestingly, that seems to be its own live outing, and they only played it as a brief instrumental. All very odd.

I'm only a few minutes in, but I'll chuck this out there. Have you considered writing any Customer Reviews on Amazon? I was doing this for years and got invited to a super secret organisation called Amazon Vine - Amazon sends you free stuff in exchange for reviews. It's by invitation only though, and as far as anyone can tell invitations are based on a mixture of your history as a customer, your positive review votes/likes, and random flukes. I've been part of it for over ten years, and in that time I've received thousands of pounds of free stuff - books, toys, hair dryers, and the laptop I'm currently writing this post with. If you can't be bothered with the faff, just do what I did and copy and paste old reviews onto Amazon (I'd written hundreds of movie posts over the years and copied them into Amazon in a few days). You might get lucky and be invited. Unfortunately since Brexit and NI Protocol and other crap, Amazon has stopped shipping their Vine Freebies to Northern Ireland. I can still order stuff and have it sent to England - my sister in law lives in London - and she can either forward it to me or bring it when she's over. If I see anything good, I could stick your PO box on it and send to you - but I risk being thrown out of the program if it looks like I'm selling or giving stuff to others.
