I'M A GRANDAD!
Added 2022-01-29 10:33:45 +0000 UTCYou quite possibly saw this on Twitter... but this is Bruce, my first grandchild! Yes - Bruce! Which is an excellent name for a baby.
I've been broody for grandchildren for *ages*. Weird as it might sound, my whole life I've always looked forward to being a grandparent. I've loved being a dad, but I had such a special relationship with my maternal grandad that I've longed for this day. I'm glad Sanja and I are young enough that we'll (hopefully) be around to see our grandchildren grow up.
I only found out this news at about 4.30am this morning, so I've not been for a visit yet, but I suspect it might mean the next Digi ep will be a touch delayed. Thankfully, we've got a BYAMPOD and Digi recorded for the next couple of weeks, as well as various Patreon bonus things for the assorted tiers, but they all need editing, so please bear with.
Annoyingly, I'm still deaf in one ear, with the constant tinnitus - which made editing a challenge this week. It seems to be getting worse not better, so I'll need to get that looked at next week as well.
Anyhow. I know you'll all be okay and understanding with that. This was just an excuse to show off the baby, because I'm feeling stupidly emotional and proud and soppy about it all!
