Get exactly where you are coming from on the feeling within the audience watching Fish and Marillion. Strange how that occurred and I struggle to figure out why - saw both Fish and Marillion on their last tours and the crowd thing was still there. Shane xxx

2022-01-15 17:15:45 +0000 UTCI didn’t know that stuff about the writing retreat and Rick Astley… I saw Rick play a show a couple of years back. He actually put on a great show – just the right combo of poking fun at himself mixed with a couple of pretty good tunes (no really! - Check out the song “try”) Probably the first time I saw Fish play live when he did his tour of HMV stores, promoting Suits. He had a lot of issues with a crappy quality mic stand and getting really angry that it kept falling to pieces. He was waving it around at whatever crew was there trying to get someone to fix it to no avail, so when it got swung in my general direction, I felt obliged to grab it and try put the thing together, despite the fact that I felt like a complete tool! I think it lasted about another 30 seconds before it broke and was abandoned altogether.
