AN XMAS UPDATE...

Hi again, you lot. 

Just to keep you in the loop, I'm hoping that the new Beanus Christmas episode will be with you by the end of tomorrow... but there's a possibility it won't be done until Monday. It's kind of mostly edited barring one musical section... which I also need to film some bits for. Either way, you'll definitely have it exclusively for a few days at least.

There will be a LOT of outtakes of this episode for the top tier gang, including an entire deleted round. It's a weird thing, but a consequence of removing the time pressure/schedule from my shoulders is resulting in slightly shorter episodes than they had been, because I'm able to refine the edit more. This one is still close to an hour, though! Savour it. It's a (Christmas) cracker.

Which.... I'm pleased about, because... as those who were there will be able to tell you, I wasn't feeling on top Beanus form that day. It took me a while to work up a head of steam. I don't think you'll notice, though.

I know I've been a tad quiet of late - not least missing a BYAMPOD this week. I feel like a stuck record, but... we're going through a really, really stressful time here. I know I detailed some of it in the recent Patreon-only video. Oddly, I'm feeling better in myself, but we also got some more bad news last week, which kind of threw a spanner into all the works, and chucked our planned filming/recording schedule out of the window. 

At one point it was looking like we were all possibly going to have to take an emergency trip to Italy this week, for the kids to visit their grandmother, who is critically poorly. 

I dunno why the universe has decided now's a good time to test our emotional stamina repeatedly, but we're doing our best to roll with it. 

Without a doubt, it helps us to keep busy with Digi/BYAMPOD stuff (when we get time to do it...). We've got another filming session scheduled on Monday for a second Xmas special - which we're doubling up with a recording of BYAMPOD (hopefully). I'm hoping to rope one or two new faces into both the Digi and BYAMPOD we'll be recording that day. 

And then... I hope we're also going to have time for a Christmas special of BYAMPOD, and a New Year's Eve special of Digi. Though all of it is going to be dependent on whether we get any more surprises tossed our way between now and then.
