so I guess feedback?
Added 2023-01-29 15:05:02 +0000 UTChello to everyone who has been supporting my content. time flies and folks come and go, every dollar put into my patreon has been put into use for my projects.
The transparency reports will soon start again so I will be showing you folks where the current budget has gone into for the start of this year.
anyway. lately I'm just not getting any new supporters to replace the folks who have to eventually stop their pledge and leave (which again alot of appreciation for taking the step to pledge and support my content in the first place)
its kinda probably a skill/talent to rile up new people to come pledge your work these days but I think I just dont know how to get new blood in lately. I probably should continue making the gifs/sticker rewards eh? since I've not got to it for the last 3 months due to my time being stretched on my house renovation/moving.
But since I've finally settled in at my new house, I probably should start getting proactive on those rewards. but yeah, youtube continue to be a rough spot on my content, animations just not getting the views that is needed for a sustainable income and I'm still relying on old animations as my core earnings, which is trouble if my old animations finally stop getting the views.
the idealistic dream is that my patreon can really fund my budget and also give me a sustainable income to continue this as youtube has being really unstable since the start of 2022. But yeah, it comes down to getting new blood to come in and give their pledge. anyway if you folks got any feedback or suggestions, or anything you want to tell me on, I want to hear it.
Anyway, thanks for hearing my thoughts. I hope 2023 will open up new stuff for me and my content.

2023-02-01 08:43:32 +0000 UTCNot sure if that would be much of a feedback, but i'm here for cute and silly monster hunter videos. The gifs/stickers that I can use for profile pictures are just a nice addition :)
2023-01-30 07:27:44 +0000 UTCCongrats on the new home and settling in! And an awesome 2022 of ideas and animations! Yeah, if the drop in Patreon is proportionate to community and other views, the same should hold true for the contrary; a rise in patreons being proportionate to other views. Hoping it's "seasonal". Oh, and I think patreon itself has been in a slightly rough spot with changes to its system and how people have responded last "season" anyway - so if it's dropped proportionately less, that's a VERY good sign with your Patreon. Honestly, the benefits are incredibly rewarding as is, and you interacting+involving the viewers and community (from time to time) occurs naturally (making it extra special!) but a few ideas...: Change could easily be welcome, as long as it's not done in a panic to sustain numbers. Why I say "as long as it's not done in a panic to sustain numbers": A number of people contribute to patreons out of good-will and support for the creators. (Some places are just purely tip jars). Perks and rewards CAN help bring people in or get a few to pledge more, but it can be at the expense of the goodwill of patreons. People will drop if there's any sense of shortcuts taken to get more money out of people. You avoid doing this naturally; not to exploit which is what makes you really cool. One thing might be to have people know (reminded) that your Patreon (and community) exists to begin with. That might also be from teasing on youtube some interactions and creations that occured from the discord or patreon with consent. Sharing a lot of cool things have occured from the patreon and community. Like the fan-art discord events? Additionally, if you're also looking for ideas for stuff that's trending, and stuff to collaborate with and show collaboration with the users, you could have quarterly annual (or some time)/randomly periodic collaboration videos/videos involving patreons, like the Fuecoco rice cooker challenge. You make these naturally, but would it work to subtley display part of the process - that people know there was some involvement or can get involved in something later down the line (when/if that's something you want to do)?

2023-01-30 01:14:48 +0000 UTCPatreon rewards will help: I especially enjoyed the GIF rewards. Perhaps consider a brand new tier reward at $5/month? Something to sweeten the deal and encourage some $2 members to upgrade, though long term $2 members might be miffed if you place the GIFs at $5+ tier.
