I'M LOCKED OUT OF TWITTER!

Hey-yo. Annoyingly, I've been locked out of my Twitter account for the past two days due to "unusual activity". Whatever the activity, it happened at 2.50am... but I don't know what it might've been.

Twitter's solution is to change my password... but I can't do that, because I've been locked out. And due to it being the weekend, and due to Coronavirus, they're not responding to my emails or support tickets to let me get back in.

So, that's REALLY frustrating. But I just thought I'd let you all know, and if you're on Twitter, I'd appreciate you letting your followers know, just in case anyone's wondering if I've died, or something. I'm hopeful it'll be fixed soon enough, but in the meantime... it's making me realise how much I rely on Twitter for communicating with people - not least at the minute because I'm trying to co-ordinate various potential guest contributions for the Halloween special.

ANNOYING!

Are you secretly enjoying it?

I doubt it to be honest, but you never know...

That's SO annoying!!!!

Is it that weirdo who was threatening you a while back?

My Disney plus got hacked recently. It might be because I never bothered with it much (paid a year at lockdown) so I gave the password to my mate. He proper panicked when it happened but I pod by Apple, customer service sorted it

I have eff-all followers to tell, but I did notice that my YouTube account was mysteriously unsubbed from Digi last night. I fixed it but tweeted you about it as I’m sure this issue cropped up a couple of months ago too..?

I’ve put out a public service announcement on my Super Page 58 account, everyone who follows that follows you, so it should help get the word out.

What!? Did they say why that post got flagged as bad???

Twitter and Facebook have too much power over our lives. If you get locked out of Facebook your Oculus Rift 2 turns into a useless brick apparently!

Twitter can be like that. They issued me a life ban back in March for a post about the N64 game Blast Corp. It took over a month for Twitter support to reply with an automated message telling me that due to the severity of what I'd done they were going to ignore any further support requests from me. It meant I had the double-whammy of going into lockdown and being isolated from my real-world contacts and losing my Twitter contacts too. Just because a picture of an N64 cartridge and a post saying "I love this game!" 😕

Cheers, feller.

I've posted a message to my small amount of followers. Most of them follow you I think so hopefully the message will come across
