Q&A QUESTIONS NEEDED

Morning, everyone. I'm feeling better, more or less Hurrah! That was foul. Won't go into the grisly details - though if you heard me on the Cheapshow live stream on Saturday, I presented plenty there - but it was a cold, followed immediately by a proper upset stomach, that left me feeling utterly steamrollered.

Aaaaanyway... this means I'll finally be recording the final part of the Monster Hunting series today. As an apology for this being so late, I'm going to record a special Q&A coda exclusive for Patrons, so if you've got ANY questions about the trip... monster hunting in general... or anything like that... post them here this morning, and I'll do my best to answer them all this afternoon.

I'm very close now to having the next, and final, part of Lost Footage done. Relatively speaking, anyway - it's taking a while. But I'll attempt to give you a sneak peek of one section as soon as I can.

Right... questions, please!

Paul

Comments

What do you feel was the most personally rewarding moment of the trip?

John Lindsay

If there was one thing you could tell your past self from the South America trip, what would it be?

Tyronne Mann

If one of your kids announced they were going on a monster hunting trip, what piece of equipment would you want them to take? Also, what flavour of crips should they pack?

Matthew Townsend (Bionic)

Also, did you go on any other trips / hunts with this group, or go looking for ghosts or whatever independent of them at any time? If so, we want more stories please, because you are a darn fine orator.

Dan O'Connor

Did you use any of your monster hunting experiences (perhaps disguised) in any of your other work? Sooty versus the Cannibal, for example.

Dan O'Connor

First and most importantly, DID YOU FEED THE CAT!? Second, do you think Disney screwed up the Star Wars sequel trilogy by deciding to use 3 different directors(even though it ended up just being two different)? Third, how do you feel about ancient alien theories and have you watched the show or looked into them much?

Jason Salisbury

Simple question, given everything you went through and that it was such a unique thing to experience, would you do it again somewhere else if asked? Obviously somewhere else like Mexico for example?

Mark Honeyborne

If a TV production company offered you the chance to travel the world looking for different beasties would you accept the offer?

(Just) Steve

Do you think this kind of expidition/adventure could happen now or do you think people are too jaded (or at least think they know too much about the world)?

The Nitroglycerin Child

Would you like to do something with a more paranormal feel, Mr Biffo's Fortean Footage maybe. Also are there any cryptozoological creatures that you think might exist (personally I still hope for a Thylacine to show up)?

Treacle Truffle

Biffo: The Autobiography ✊ I'd buy it. Have you read his Confessions of a Chatroom Freak book? Never laughed so much in my life due to reading!

CloudLXXXV

Do you think you've done enough in your life from Teletext to monster hunting to writing for TV to warrant a book? Maybe an e-book or the like?

Alastair Ward

Ah man. Sorry about the cat, Lee.

Paul Rose (Mr Biffo)

If you could go Monster Hunting for any Monster, be it those from video games, folklore or old myths & legends etc.. What would it be? I’d go hunting for some Chupacabra lol

CloudLXXXV

P.S. My cat died on Friday morning after a heart attack, your CheapShow stream video made me both laugh and cry simultaneously. Thanks x

I know Monster Hunting was a once in a lifetime experience but how do you feel having done it? Was it hell or do you remember the good parts over the bad?

Lee McCormick
