Look how far you’ve come.” I literally have a tattoo for the line “there were pages turned with the bridges burned, everything you lose is a step you take” because even though sometimes things or relationships don’t work out, you’re starting a new chapter with what you’ve learned from that past dumpster fire. And: “I hosted parties and starved my body like I’d be saved by a perfect kiss” is literally every 16 year old girl who is hopefully in unrequited love and then as an adult, you look back on yourself then, so young and innocent and you thought you’d die without them, but look at how far you’ve come by yourself. So don’t ever be afraid of the future because you have yourself, like you’ve always had yourself and you. can. do. it. You always have done it.
