Added 2025-09-09 23:01:29 +0000 UTCSorry for 3 pings in 3 days. but we have another hotfix to share with folks. We have been working with a few community members for the last few days and have rolled all of the last patches and widget updates into one installer now!
I refuse to jinx myself by saying this should be the stable patch for everyone, but this should be a stable patch for everyone lol!
Outside of the general stability fixes one key call out is this version uses a new enhanced process monitoring system. while our previous one was good. it had some memory leak and process disposing issues. This patch fixes those and makes the overall engine more robust and resilient!
There are 3 known bugs that we are still working through:
1: Auto start on restart is currently not working. (we think this is due to Winhanced needing admin privileges when launching for TDP controls to work
2: On install of new games that have a prompt or error launching of games. Winhanced currently doesn't recognize this and remains in a state of launching the game (overlay loading spinning). the only way to get passed this is to close Winhanced and remove the prompt then relaunch Winhanced. However we are currently looking into ways to recognize these edge cases.
3: A Steam Deck user brought to my attention. that the wer running into some weirdness after installing and unistalling games where winhanced wasn't properly recognizing those installs occuring and updating the UI.,
