I’d love to transport the French DGA to the US, procurement engineers who are on a project from start to finish, even if that’s 10-20 years. Paid well. The French budget is the same size as the Germans, but they also get a nuclear sub fleet, nuclear aircraft carrier and a nuclear deterrent.

O Boat Edward

I am very glad to hear you and wife are doing well. We had the Novo going around here in Chicago and it was rough

Good call on the hesitation for historical ships; Drachinifel won't touch missile armed ships because he doesn't know about them, and you have the right idea going the other way.

Oh my god!!! Glad she pulled through, Novo is no joke.

I'm very glad your wife is getting better! I have been fighting off shingles for the last several weeks (another virus). It seems like shipbuilding issues are coming to a head. DDG-1000s and SSN-21s were too expensive, LCSs have major problems, the new tech in the Ford carrier was a nightmare and the Constellation frigates are 5 yrs behind schedule. God only knows whether the DDG-X program will come to fruition.
