Biweekly Build #15

Hi there!

So for this Biweekly build, I apologize for not getting as much done as I thought I would, it's been a hectic couple of weeks with the holidays and the trip last week. I do have a little something for each project though!

In DOAS Pt. 2, I've completed another of Hatha's Towers. You can find this one just south of the Akhar River and southeast of Akharthis. It's pretty challenging, but I hope not too much so!

As for Spank or Treat, I've added all the framework for spanking other characters, and fully implemented the ability to spank Precious. This takes into account what implement you are holding by the way! Just walk up to her and insult her.

That's all for this week! Again, sorry for the small update, but nothing should get in the way next week!

Thanks for the heads up, I'll make sure those areas don't trap players anymore!

Ran through DOAS2, and I'm really impressed with what is there so far. This is the first time I was outside of Arexis, and the world is much larger than I had expected. I have found and completed 3 towers thus far (I think that's all of them so far), and I felt each of them to be very unique and well designed. Knowing that 99% of the world is not ready, I wanted to point out a few areas in which I got "stuck". Seaside Hollow (interior) goes into a dialog loop (it has 3 skill checks with the [spoiler?] Initiate, but then loops into the dialog on the ship where you are requesting the brig key from Beck, then goes back to the Initiate and gets stuck in a loop), forcing the program to be closed and relaunched, while Lashum (interior) and Grimfallow Stead (exterior) cannot be exited once entered, forcing a quit and reload. I know these areas aren't ready, but wanted to point them out since I'm sure other explorers will run into these issues as well. ;) Peeked at SoT Domme, and I like what I see. Keep up the great work, and I look forward to future updates! :)

So the idea that I'm working with will move much faster than the bandit battles in part 1. First when you encounter an enemy, they stop you. At this point, you enter the mental phase of the battle, where you must choose one of your mental stats to try to beat theirs. If that fails, the battle moves onto the physical portion which is basically one of you trying to get the other over their lap. You now choose a physical skill to use against theirs, at that point, the battle is either won or lost. That's what I have on paper. Another addition I was considering was that during the mental stage, you can just choose to rush them, which will give you a big bonus on winning the physical portion, but if they choose the option to defend instead of choosing a mental skill, that bonus is turned around on you.

I'm wondering if and what kind of fighting there will be in DoaS2. Fighting the bandits in part 1 was maybe my favourite... concept. No other game has anything like that. Of course, the strength and implement of the bandit could have been randomized and maybe it could have been more frantic, but I loved the idea of "win this battle or get spanked". So I'm basically just curious about this. What can we expect?

Woops, thanks for letting me know!

found a bug in sot if you leave your house in domme mode and re enter it you will be in the normal house (the one without any mode enabled)
