Happy Sunday!

This week I’ve been deep in story planning for Chapter 6, so I don’t have much in terms of flashy screenshots to share just yet. Most of my time has gone into figuring out the core beats of the chapter—what scenes need to happen, how the story progresses, and how to keep everything tight and engaging.

That said, I want to take this opportunity to ask you—what would you like to see in Chapter 6 or beyond?

While I’m very careful to keep the scope under control so we can stay on track for a summer release, your feedback is always valuable. I want to make sure the experience meets your expectations, while still being realistic about what I can build in time.

A few things to keep in mind about Chapter 6:

• It will be very story-focused, with time skips to cover the winter months.

• I do not plan to add dozens of individual dates per girl—not like Chapter 5’s 12-per-girl scale (that was intense!).

• Instead, I’m aiming for around 3 new dates per girl, across 9 girls, for a total of 27 dates. That’s still a lot, but feels manageable while keeping focus on the main story and special events.

One date idea that keeps being suggested—and I totally agree—is a gym date! We definitely want to see our strong girls hit the weights and show off a bit in their element.

What kind of scenes do you want to see?
Any specific events or ideas you think would fit well in the winter arc or the evolving story?

Release date?

Yes I realize I mentioned summer. I at least hope to meet that. But I will need to keep the scope in check to make that a reality. The way I imagine is:

• May - Raven side story

• June - Another side story (Poll to be posted this week!)

Then I won't do more side stories until chapter 6 is ready. Which I hope to be August, giving me July to do everything I can to make it a smooth launch.

This will be possible if I keep the scope of the side stories also within reason. I realize I've kept making them longer and longer with each one. But I cannot keep doing that sustainably. I hope to settle on making them similar length to Mika.

If anything, making side stories is a lot of fun and really allows me to focus only on narrative which is great. No gameplay or branching paths considerations. But ultimately we are here to play a game with player choice so side stories will never be a priority over the main game.
