What happens after I finish posting Ep5 to Patreon?

On September 12 I will be posting on Twitter and reddit (in Standard Def) Ep5 pgs1-2, then 3-4 on the 13th. Every other Tuesday I will continue to post a page at a time.

Also on September 13th, I’ll be posting all pages of Ep5 in HD to my Gumroad. Throughout the months of posting Ep5 to the Socials (Twitter and reddit) I’ll be marketing to fans two options: 1-buy the comic collated in full on my Gumroad for $9 or 2-become a Patron and dig through my feed for all Ep5 pages, in addition to any Ep3.5 pages, WIPs, etc. for $5-$20. Happy to have fans make a one stop purchase at the Gumroad, but even happier to draw them into becoming a monthly Patron.

A while ago I thought about taking full pages down from the Patreon feed once they hit the Socials. Why give Patrons several months of content for $5?! Send them to my Gumroad! In the years to come I’ll have several complete comics in my feed. I wanted to discourage those few folks that would avoid paying a couple dozen bucks at my Gumroad by scrounging them up from deep in the Patreon feed for only $5. However, not only would that be a time-consuming chore to handle every/other week, but I wouldn’t want to punish the majority of my awesome Patrons just to “bring justice” upon a few people that discovered a loophole.

I want to run this ship with love and trust. You all give me your hard earned money because you trust in me to create more art. And I trust you all with the principles of supporting an artist you want to see more art from.

This does however affect the appeal of the $10 tier. Why pay $5 more for half off on my Gumroad when you already have access to all the pages of the newest comic? I may make a post asking what you all think would make the $10 appeal better…
