Big time has come and SFO: Grimhammer III ver. 1.00 called Storm of Chaos is going to be released this Friday 27.01.2023 during a stream that starts at 7.30 PM CET https://youtube.com/live/lvHFSCz_KL0
I don't need to remind myself that it was a massive undertaking. We went through all 3 TW: Warhammer games factions, readjusted them, added new content and at the top of that we added most content from SFO 2 mod that we were making for the last 5 years. It is the biggest release made by the SFO Mod Team so far. And because of that we have a brief summary of all the changes you can expect. - Full mod summary is available only for Patrons for now. It's still in the works.
- Mod is working for all game mods and is crash free.
- You can play on Old World Beta saves but it can cause problems, it's always better to start a new campaign.
- All abilities UI were reworked to show exact values like splash or damaged entities. Same goes for the unit's UI.
- All factions were rebalanced in terms of units, technologies, items, abilities, buildings, events, mechanics and more.
- Difficulty settings were reworked and show exact values you can expect. AI cheats were lowered and those that are left are not giving any free stuff to AI.
- Player penalties from systems like supply lines were removed. Because of that all stacking effects for the economy were also reduced.
- Rework of sieges so they don't generate supply points in battles anymore but provide higher starting numbers and lowered prices. All garrisons were reworked.
- SFO Mod Menu was added with tons of options to change your experience. All of this is separate from campaign and battle difficulty settings.
- Many features from SFO 2 were not added because we decided that they did not work properly or caused bloat. For each faction change from the previous game we will be making proper video in future.
- All characters received new skills and traits to give players more options and hard choices.
- Many factions received new units, characters, buildings, technologies and mechanics.
- And way more.
Would also like to take an opportunity and announce that during the release stream you will be able to see the first full teaser of my own game that is in production for quite some time.
