[EARLY ACCESS] Umineko Pt 30: Kyrie and Rudolf's Swan Song

1:58:00; Virgilla was referring to the Aesop Fable “The North Wind and The Southern Sun” where the wind and the sun sees a traveler in a desert with a cloak and they make a bet with each other on who can get traveler to lose the cloak. The wind goes first and blows as hard as he can, attempting to blow the cloak off, but the traveler clutch the cloak tighter, refusing to let go no matter how strong the gusts were. When the wind gave up, the Sun gently hovered directly over the traveler and shined his warm rays on the traveler. The traveler got overwhelmed with the heat and eventually voluntarily took off his cloak……; the moral of this fable is that sometimes, gentle persuasion is the way to win instead of using aggressive forces. In other words, Virgillia is hinting that the more Beatrice desperately tries to prove herself as a witch to Battler, the more Battler will reject her. She’s trying to tell Beatrice to try a softer approach.

34:06 You should call her 'Evatrice'. That's her unofficial name in the Umineko fandom.
