So far it’s been really interesting and neat that Sotsu has shown us everything from new perspectives and it’s given us really cool L5 moments (and holy shit that last scene of Satoko vs Mion was incredible) but I am dying for some new stuff. I’ve been hoping up until now that the -akashi arcs would have more complexity and mystery to them but so far they’ve been fairly predictable. I’m hoping that Tatariakashi has a bunch of new stuff and character development for Satoko; I feel like she’s been pretty stagnant of a character since the end of Gou and I’m hoping that we start to see her plans fall apart and maybe even start to show some remorse. Buuut I won’t hold my breath.

2021-07-30 03:09:45 +0000 UTC3 reasons why Shion was neutered in Episode 5: 1. Mion was her twin sister. Shion would have a much easier time tazing a random stranger. 2. Shion felt guilty for bringing Keiichi into the sacred shrine. Shion would more likely retaliate against Mion if Mion had been falsely accusing her. 3. Mion was wearing the same clothes that time Shion got her nails ripped off. Naturally, Shion was traumatized and didn't want to face a similar punishment for her wrongdoing this time.
