After 2 years & 8 months of work, A Show of the Ropes has come to a close! I don't think there's any amount of thanks I can give to properly convey my gratitude. With that being said, thank you so much for reading, for supporting me on this Patreon, for being unrelenting in your kindness on each and every page, and for lending me the privilege to pursue my art and stories fully, freely, and without judgement.
A Show of the Ropes began in late 2020 after the most intense uprooting I've ever endured in my life, and kept me grounded as I refound my footing. It feels particularly fitting to close out this chapter at a time where the dust has not only settled, but made way for a beautiful life. I feel parallel to Chloe in that I've fallen into a loving community over the course of this comic, and there is a cosmic satisfaction in bookending this part our lives together, eager to see what comes next.
If Crossing That Bridge was about coming to terms with one's identity as a trans person, A Show of the Ropes is about everything that comes after. Even when something as vital as one's gender or sexuality becomes more realized, there are still an infinite amount of facets in the self to be discovered, and it is a long, winding, everlasting, and beautiful road to traverse. Still, that change doesn't come to fruition all on its own. It is a product of channeling effort into your intentions, actualizing your desires, and living in abundance. Chloe's story might be cartoonishly serendipitous, but it would have never come about if she didn't know the shape of her own desires.
Again, thank you all so much for reading, for your support, and for your presence over the course of this comic. I can't wait to show y'all what comes next, not only for Willow Valley's newest polycule, but for everyone's favorite cat & dog. ;)
Until then, I'm going to be spending the next few weeks working on formatting everything for print, and should hopefully have a physical edition available by the end of September! Stay tuned ♥

I have only stumbled over this comic two months ago and fell in love with it on first sight. The story driven plot and the conveying of a normal reality, where people have borders and the partners respect that. I loved seeing it woven into the comic. Only love for you!
