Our Language [Planning & Sketches]

I had been sketching up rough poses and ideas for a Valentine's Day picture, and while The Porn Was Good and the Fluids Were Flowing, there was something a little lacking that I felt I couldn't convey from a run-of-the-mill sex scene. I wanted to touch on something a little deeper, and I'm not talking about the prostate (cue studio audience laughtrack).

Instead, I decided to continue my little exploration into comics with another one-off page and a follow-up picture. While I've yet to sketch up the definitely-pornographic follow-up, you can at least see below the monologue, thumbnailing, rough sketches, and refined sketches. From here I'll be piecing it together as a page, drawing the backgrounds, and then lining and coloring! It feels like a big undertaking, but I feel like it'll be worth it once it's all done!
