Hey Desirables,

I wanted to share an update with you all, as I know you might be wondering what's been going on.

This year has been incredibly tough, with significant challenges impacting both my family and me. My sister is battling aggressive multiple myeloma, experiencing constant pain and severe symptoms. It's heartbreaking to see her suffer, especially as I manage my own cancer, which, thankfully, is currently controlled with medication. The contrast in our situations has been mentally taxing, leading to my doctor prescribing depression medication.

Additionally, my dad's dementia has escalated. I've been spending more time helping my mom, as his care needs have increased significantly. His condition led to a recent hospitalization due to a fall, adding more stress to our family situation.

On top of all this, a severe storm knocked out our power,just now, leaving me in the dark, both literally and figuratively. It's a constant state of alert, bracing for the next challenge.

I apologize for any delays in my comic work. My focus has been on navigating these personal crises. I promise to get back on track as soon as things settle down.
