2023-10-01 06:31:32 +0000 UTCIt isn't a remake, but there is a movie from 1987 called "Throw Mama From The Train" that is more like inpired by this movie. You can see similarities, but it is a dark comedy with talk of murder and unlikeble characters playing it for laughs. Sort of like how Galaxy Quest was playing off Star Trek. It's pretty good, your kind of humor, and worth watching.
