i know right? i mean he looks like this real mature type of guy... who can't act like a kid or bring a goofy play. but i guess looks aren't always what they seem haha

The actor, Gary Oldman... You have seen him in a few movies you've watched here on your channel. Gary Oldman also plays Commissioner Gordon in the three movies within The Dark Knight Trilogy. He is one of Batman's closest allies and good friend. Gary Oldman is a phenomenal actor, and loved in so many roles. His role here in The Fifth Element isn't a great role for him in my opinion, but it does truly show off his amazing acting talents, because his character here is so different from all of his other roles. It's almost hard to believe he is able to play someone so normal in the Batman movies after watching him play Zorg here in The Fifth Element. Heidi

Luc Besson has also made "The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc (1999)" where Milla Jovovich staring as well. Another great movie from the same director is "Lucy (2014)" with Scarlett Johansson and Morgan Freeman. One of my favorite directors. I totally recommend those movies. Edit: I forgot the "Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets (2017)"

Another good sci-fi action movie from the 90s I loved in my childhood. I hope you watch my favorite of Chris Tucker, Friday, he is sooo funny in that. And also, I thought at first you were going to recognize Ian Holm as Ash the android who malfunctions in the first Alien movie. Great reaction!

I second both of these recommendations. La Femme Nikita is in French but is great. It would be fun to see you react to something not in English. Luc Besson was also really influential as a producer of action movies.

The director, Luc Besson, made some really good movies before this one. He's a French director, heavy on dramatic action and an interesting visual style. "La Femme Nikita" (1990) is one of my favorites and he's also known for "Leon: The Professional" (1994). Both are really good and worth checking out.

I remember seeing this in the theater. We had no idea what it was about but it had Bruce Willis, Gary Oldman and Ian Holm so we figured it might be good. Wound up seeing it 3 more times at the theater and bought it on DVD as soon as it came out. Great movie.
