X-Men First Class (2011) Full Reaction

Sorry for the late reply. Oh yeah, I’ve learnt a lot of the lore, feel down that rabbit hole very quickly. Days of Future Past, yeah anything to do with time travel i just go with the flow. Once you start thinking of what happens, how it happens, and the consequences it just winds up making my head hurt. It’s a cool thing, just best not to dive too deep into thinking about it.

Yup - same same! My love for them started in the 90s one, where Rogue sounds like Dolly Parton? lol - He's more powerful than some think, after all, his electric shield/force, allows him to touch Rogue, which no-one else can iirc. I forgot about Evolution, its been so long since I've watched both. I actually mad a mistake too - Taylor Kitsch was him in Wolverine but wasn't memorable enough unfortunately. Even though he ends up one of Logan's best friend's, or best friend. Like Logan, Gambit's a bad boy but complex character. I always felt someone older though for the first X-Men trilogy should have played Rogue and for younger? Jubilee. They messed up there imo. I love Blade too. Even the 3rd - The new one worries me as well, though it would be interesting to see Blade, Deadpool and Venom in the same room lol

I do hope Hugh Jackman stays a little longer as Wolverine. As soon as he retired, Fox was bought by Disney, and my hopes for a Wolverine vs Hulk was crushed. However, we might fingers double crossed and knocking on wood, we might just might get that fight soon!

Gambit is an awesome character, regardless of the media I love him. I do like him best in the X-Men Evolution series though. I hope they have his and Rogue’s romance in the upcoming movies, they are my favorite of the Marvel couples. I am keeping my fingers crossed that Blade reboot is as great or greater than the first one. Though Wesley Snipes’ Blade will forever be immortal.

Yes! So glad I joined your Patreon finally! If I hadn’t I wouldn’t have found you guys have already reacted to some golden shows and movies!! Might go back and watch stuff I’ve already seen you react to on youtube but for now looks like you guys have a lot of awesome reactions! So happy you’ve gotten through so many X-Men! One of my favorite series of the early 2000s superheroes. Baby Mystique is so adorable, the fact people are scared of her is shameful and ridiculous. Oh Azazel and Mystique are Nightcrawler/Kurt-guy, from X2, parents, but for some reason they didnt include that in the show. Just like at one point Mystique in the comics and animated shows is the adopted mother of Rogue. Agent Stryker-he was the guy thinking of his son in the meeting with Charles and Moira. He has a son name William and timeline was it is the 60s. His son should be old enough to be the man in Origins Wolverine. Well, actually beforehand, as Stryker meet Logan and Victor during Vietnam War. However, young William Stryker may have been in his late 20s-early 30s in this film. Angel, while I think she should’ve stayed on the X-Men team, she has probably seen more of the bad side of humanity than the others. Which is why she sided both with Shaw and Magneto. Oh and she is the actress in the recent Batman movie as Catwoman. Alex Summers, in the comics and animated shows he is the younger brother of Scott Summers but for some reason they made him older in the films. You can see Scott during the Cerebro scene as a young kid playing with a baseball and even a young Storm i think she’s writing or reading something. 1:23:35 whoa I think Joy just predicted one of the future films, girl you are wickedly smart. 1:32:10 that was the OG Mystique from previous film just without all the blue. Learning Magneto/Erik’s backstory truly helps those who haven’t read the comics, to understand him. Granted it isn’t justified cause for killing innocent people, especially when he knows the reason they are attacking is out of fear and instead of trying to help ease the fear he only increases it. It’s a lot like tragic villain stories you come across, the thing is some heroes start out in bad places to and yet managed to keep their goodness. Look at Peter Parker and Steve Rogers, both have been bullied, beaten, and some how are considered some of the purest hearted characters in all of the Marvel character catalog. Heck, if you are interested in learning more about him, there is a book called Untamed Wolverine and it goes into all the torture and losses Logan has faced and yet somehow even he manages to not allow it to keep him from going bad. Magneto becoming what his creator was is heartbreaking as he could’ve been so much better. Loved the reaction to this movie. Now to go watch the rest!! So excited!!

Its a very complex universe - Like Cable in Deadpool's real name is Cable (Nathan Christopher Charles Summers) Son of Scott Summers (Cyclops) and is first wife Madelyne Pryor (Jean Grey's clone) so, at the moment in Deapool 2? Cable is from the future but was in the same timeline as his father, who we saw in the mansion when Colossus took Deadpool there after Vanessa's death and we saw beast, professor X and Scott in the room behind Wade. Deadpool 3 could be via Cable, another reason why Wolverine gets involved. So maybe we'll see Scott too....I hope so. You need to also watch Fantastic 4 - 2004 iirc with Chris Evans. Fantastic 4, Silver Surfer too, who's confirmed to be joining as well, they are coming into the same timeline I think.

will do 100%! Wolverine is my favorite also! since he isn't far from Hulk in terms of (healing + strength) i know they are different in level of strength and looks.. but u get the point. and yess can't wait for more X-Men movies!

and from what comic fans say (and above commenter), Darwin is like unkillable and adapt to anything even what happened in the movie. But yeah its a solid x-men movie for sure. Some good action, cast and acting

So you have forgot some stuff from the old movies but I know its been a while 🤣 so Charles could always freeze people. He can read, communicate with, and control the minds of anyone. Charles is a very powerful mutant, one of the best. Also, Wolverine doesn't join the X-Men for years until after Charles is bald, Jean and Scott are there, and more. But it's a fun raster egg that he's been alive this whole time of course and it would make sense they might have a quick run in with him. But Logan would never remember it 😅 Something cool about Azazel. He is a lot like Nightcrawler, from X-Men 2, like you guys were saying. In the comics, Azazel is Nightcrawlers father. Thats why they have the same powers of teleportation. But something even crazier..... Mystique is Nightcrawlers mother. Thats why he has her blue skin. So yeah there's lots of cool connections here. Also, the guy who has the laser disks (Alex Summers aka Havok) is Scott Summers' brother, aka Cyclops. The guy from the first 3 X-Men who was in love with Jean and shot lasers from his eyes. They are brothers, hence they both have laser abilities. Also one other thing about Darwin, the guy who can adapt to survive. They did him dirty in this movie, killing him as easy as they did. He's so much more powerful than that. So in the comics, Darwins, power will protect him by adapting to any situation if he's in danger. The only problem is, he doesn't have any control over it. But his power is practically limitless, since his mutation could help him in any way. For example, you remember Hela, the Goddess of Death, Thors brother, from Thor Ragnarok? Remember how powerful she was? Well, in the comics, Darwin once was fighting Hela with some other X-Men. She, as the Goddess of Death, has the power to literally just kill someone with her touch. So she laid hands on Darwin, and to save his life from her Death Touch, his mutation.... literally transformed him into a God of Death. He became as powerful as her and was immune to her power. Thats what his mutation can do. Change him, a human, into a God. So Darwin is VERY strong. That puny laser disk wouldn't hurt him lol 😄 The next movie is called The Wolverine. Not to be confused with X-Men Origins Wolverine. Two different movies. The Wolverine came out in 2013. So I'll see you guys next time!

Now you know those Deadpool digs to Colossus regarding the Timeline lol. The next one will blow your mind! I love this trilogy though, and glimpses into their early lives. It does all tie in, the second will show more, but? I really would say to watch Fantastic 4 with Chris Evans as Johnny Storm. Two of the first ''reboot'' superhero movies, 7 years after Blade, 2005. They are coming back into the MCU soon and? They are linked to the X-Men (I think) Storm from the X-Men is linked to Wakanda iirc, in the comics anyway. Same as Beast. The links are there for sure, with the Avengers though and the X-Men. (I'm not an expert though, this is just vaguely remembered lol) I've always been gutted they've not done a Gambit yet with them all though. He's a great character.
