Breaking Bad 5x4 ''Fifty-One'' Full Reaction

I really need to read Dostoevsky, I always meant to check something from him, thanks for reminding me. These shows are a reflections of ourselves, and through the characters' criminal adventures, although we root for them not to get caught, we see the darkest side of their ideals, of their world-view, we know and see that it's wrong to abuse our power and to dismiss the humanity, and we need to strive for better ideas in our real world lives. If something that is good does not exist, then we should strive to nourish it within us, to plant seeds of an ideal. Walter chose to dismiss his goodness and to nourish his darkest side, to gain power, to feel validated in his world that used to dismiss him. Walter wanted to feel like he could accomplish something. But most of us choose family, friends, to have a good life and as humans help our society.

ohh man i even forgot he killed Krazy-8 !!! this Walter comes waaaay back... i have some more theories about it.. but i will save them for the ending of the show... and like you said (he thinks like a chemist, like a scientist) this show has more impact in my life than i expected.. i used to think like Walter.. well in some sense.. but now i believe there is sooo much that we don't know.. and there is a lot that i cannot explain with facts or calculations.. one thing is certain though.. it gotta be more out there... if you haven't read any of Fyodor Dostoevsky, i recommend it greatly! can't wait to see more of this show,

"Nothing stops this train." Except as you saw in the next episode of "Breaking Dark" already, they did stop the train.πŸ˜‚ Regarding whether Walter has retained some of his humanity or not....he has said it himself in past episodes. In episode 3, when Walter was struggling, finding it hard and trying to find any excuse not to kill Krazy-8, and then after he tearfully apologizes as Krazy-8 dies. He flashes back to college and Gretchen, and she asks "What about the soul?" He answers, "The soul? There's nothing but chemistry here..." That is one of my favorite quotes and moments of the show. Then in the famous episode "Fly," he and Jesse have the most significant exchange: WALTER: "No. I missed it. There was some perfect moment that passed me right by, but I had to have enough to leave them. That was the whole point. None of this makes any sense if I didn't have enough. And it had to be before she found out. Skyler. It had to be before that." JESSE: "Perfect moment? For what? To drop dead? Are you saying you want to die?" WALTER: "I'm saying that I lived too long. You want them to actually miss you. You want their memories of you to be -- but she just won't -- she just won't understand. I mean, no matter how well I explain it, these days she just has this -- this -- I mean, I truly believe there exists some combination of words. There must exist certain words in a certain specific order that can explain all of this, but with her I just can't ever seem to find them." Walt only thinks like a chemist, like a scientist, like an empiricist. Only the bare facts matter, an utilitarian. Instead of connecting with his wife on an emotional he thinks he can convince with mere words, if he could only find the correct ones. As the show goes on, Walter's words become manipulative, on purpose as they give him power, and now he threatens Skyler. I am glad you guys feel bad for her, a lot of the fandom back then hated her for calling bullshit on Walter's crap, calling him out on his power fantasy. Like all good villains, Walter takes the humanity out the simplest things, and he struggled at first, his rationality then became the comfort to assuage his conscience as he murdered and committed crimes, and now his rationality has become something that gives him power, power over Skyler in this episode, and she wants him to die, and won't miss him, just like Walt feared once. It's sad, but he is a fascinating fictional character and this has made for some great drama.

ohhh yesss! i remember seeing this series for the first time not too long a go while reacting.. and oh boy.. the beginning like i was rooting for Walter to succeed in everything.. to over come the Cancer.. to get more Manly regarding people around him.. not that he was no man at all.. but the writer of this character did a very good job for the viewer to get attached to Walter's character.. just to see later on.. that someone no matter what.. they can still become bad if they try hard enough

hahha! we have some sort of rep for certain cars here... for example if u now a BMW ur considered a ''Cocalar'' means a gypsy punk.. and low IQ girls who don't have anything to do in their life but to get a guy with a car will always ask ''do you own a BMW? cuz if not bye baby'' hahaha

Poor Skylar she is "Breaking" sad!! Or, maybe more like "Breaking" mad!!😁 Man, the writing is so good for this episode.. first the overall feeling of cringe and dirty in this episode we can feel coming through the camera.. Skylar saying she can't do anything other than wait and hope the cancer comes back.. then later we see Jesse giving Walter a watch.. which means subconsciously Jesse's hoping for the same fate for Walter.. while Walter is reminded "my time is limited" Good stuff Marian & Joy.. thanks for the video and the shout out in the outro about "no more breaking bad for Walter" "just plain 'ol bad" 😁

More darkness is coming. In America, Walt's SUV the Pontiac Aztek is generally thought of as one of the ugliest cars ever made. So I'm glad he upgraded. 🚘
