Dieselpunk - take WWI/WWII and add gallons and gallons of fuel and Robots.
Cyberpunk - a corporate dystopian future.
Souls Like - Dark Souls, Elden Ring, Sekiro, you name it! We could do a boss or maybe a cool armor set?
1920s - the most basic Cthulhu setting time period. Mobsters, old timey detectives etc.
Classic D&D Monster - something you'd find in any adventure.
Whimsy Wizard - fun wizard from different schools of magic, perfecting their art. In the second poll you'd pick a school of magic and maybe even species.

2025-05-27 08:20:29 +0000 UTCOkay, I understand this is completely unreasonable, and not what the poll was asking, but can I say how delighted I would be with a souls-like 1920's dieselpunk set with Megacorps? you could absolutely background the megacorps like in Aliens (Weyland Yutani) or The Boys (Vought International), with the 1920's noir vibe with a Dieselpunk WW1/WW2 styled war as the backdrop, and then render the structure of the war like an Anime (thinking like Evangelion or RahXephon) or Edge of Tomorrow (Based on a Mange called Live Die Repeat), with DEEPLY alien monsters as the antagonists and robust worldbuilding around them in the style of soulslikes.
