ohh yess! and i love it to be honest! Gus thinking he can just exploit Walt and Jesse with giving them bits and bobs? naaah man! he gotta face the real deal out there.. the Cartel!

The Mexican Cartel wants a piece of Gus' big "blue meth" business. Remember that Walt's Blue Meth is the purest best product in that market. The cartel is not just going to let that go since they know how profitable it is. Gus told the cartel goon that he will pay them a one time lump sum of $50 milllion so they could leave him alone. The Cartel will not accept this since they know just how many more millions they would miss out on.

I love the enthusiasm with which you try to figure the angles of this harrowing story. Rewatch the opening scene with Jesse playing the Rage game. You may have missed him seeing Gale’s recoiling face for a split second when he kills the last couple game characters. Aaron Paul’s scene in the recovery meeting is amazing every time I watch it. It’s fun rewatching these with you.
