Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith (2005) Full Movie Reaction

my oh my! since we started watching this amazing masterpiece called ''Star Wars'' i been wondering ''why oh why, fans all over the world that loves Star Wars, dislike the newer version of the prequel''

now i get it at last! this movie alone proves why so many are left with a bitter taste.. and here is our thoughts.. we discuss after reacting and during the editing.. that the revenge of the sith is very dry one! there is no real connection between characters, we see a young Anakin who could see that he is being trapped by chancellor Palpatine future Darth Sidious but still acted ignorantly due to his ignorance behavior and greedy attitude towards ''so-called love towards Padmé'' making him less than any Jedi before and after him. Lucas Failed big time to hide Chancellor Palpatine from being to obvious that he is the dark one behind everything.. and also failed to connect characters who did a great job on previous films way back.  when we saw Luke and Leia, Han Solo and Chewbacca, oh my the connection and the drama, comedy, action, and thriller were next level! we felt like saying all this so u guys know our thoughts. we thank you for ur support and despite our review, we still loved the movie overall... we just had too much hype for it.. and too much expectations... that's all

You guys have to react to the kenobi series on Disney+ it was fantastic seeing ewan mcgregor and hayden christensen back in their roles as obi wan and vader...its set between revenge of the sith and a new hope

FINALLY! Obi-Wan was the best part of the prequels… hands down!! Lol but thanks for watching them with us!! We will continue to follow you guys through this journey!! P.s. my son Aiden (8) says he loves you guys! Keep up the good work 👏🏽👍🏽❤️‍🔥

*cackling in Palpatine voice* "Goooooooood. Heh heh heh."

i bet it explains more.. sometimes when watching a movie connected at a larger scale like this, is hard to not have mixed feelings when things go wildly.. to be honest, it took us a while until we digested this one.. it was quite troubling to think of haha. overall we understand better the lore.. and Anakin's fate is by far the most saddest in the whole series

we can't believe it also!!! but we are not stopping here!

it just came in my mind this.. well I gotta give u credit for that one. Qui Gon Jin left to early.. Obi Wan still was a padawan if I am not wrong.. and when he took Anakin we could say he was still a padawan.. but eventually, all of those things happened for a reason.. Darth Vader fulfills the legacy eventually by slaying the Darth Sidious by saving Luke

On a related note, if you enjoy reading, I HIGHLY recommend the novelizations for this prequel trilogy. The novelizations are spectacular, especially for Episode I & Episode III. They remain some of the best SW novels (among HUNDREDS) to date.

I can’t believe you guys have already done six Star Wars movies. Your reactions to the original trilogy are so great and I think you did the best you could with the prequels. Rogue One is the best of the new movies, and I personally think the only that's genuinely great Star Wars movie outside the original trilogy. In any case thank you for doing so many fantastic reactions every week!

The prequel movies aren't the best movies but usually this one is the most loved one. The acting maybe isn't the best, but Anakin isn't fully to blame for his fall. As you've said, the Jedi really are at fault just as much as Anakin. They failed to remain peace keepers and got too involved in politics. Obi Wan failed Anakin as well. He wasn't really the best mentor to him. If Qui Gon Jin survived, I garuntee Anakin wouldn't have gone dark. And Palpatine is probably the biggest to blame. He was grooming Anakin since he was a kid. Constantly getting in his head, making him think he was a friend. So he had no one else to turn to and really got desperate when he started having these dreams. A lot of people are at fault for the birth of Darth Vader, which is why this movie is so good. At least to the fans I've seen. Its like a Greek tragedy.

Which characters? That’s what I’m trying to understand.

William

i see.. well i didn't know that part.. and yess I wish there were more connections between the characters!

Fwiw, Lucas never tried to hide the fact that Palpatine was evil - there was no point in ever hiding that, as basically the entire audience had already known that for decades. The Jedi however, never noticed for two reasons: Palpatine’s mastery of the dark side, and more importantly, the Jedi’s utter hubris as well as gross ignorance. Palpatine only pulled the strings; the Jedi did all the work leading to their own downfall. I’m not sure what you’re getting at here. 🤔 - “and also failed to connect characters who did a great job on previous films way back”
