The Exorcist (1973) Reaction

okay, we did it! It was less scary than we anticipated which is a good thing! Not much jumpscares so that was a plus....and most of all, Marian survived! 😁

The Exorcist (1973) Reaction

ohh man i am no fan of parodies.. but will give it a try

Watch an parody of this movie with Leslie Nielsen: Repossessed (1990)

Daniel Fuchs

ohh i can imagine it already! been a while since we did a horror movie

The best movies about exorcism are: The Exorcism of Emily Rose (2005) and The Rite (2011)

The Serbian film is not worth watching. In my opinion, its not a good thriller film, its just garbage. Its intending to make you disturbed, but it holds no artistic value in my opinion. I love horror films, im not afraid of disturbing content, but the Serbian Film is just trash.

i heard that ''a serbian film'' is one of the most disturbing movies you will see.. i almost watched with Joy but we thought ''nah man is too much'' I heard a lot of haunting voices from watching Conjuring 2.. it was annoying I tell you.. and this one? The Exorcist gave me bad feeling about going out in the night.. i am quite curious person, so sometimes I watch stupid things too.. once I went on dark web.. NEVER AGAIN!

right? i was thinking the same thing!

Marian, you were right: in the early meetings with Father Karras, the demon was playing with him (speaking Latin only a moment, then 1st-year French that Regan might have known; and acting like the water burned) to confuse him and keep him questioning his faith. And yes, the man who wrote the book "The Exorcist" (William Peter Blatty) says it was based on a true story of a 12-year-old boy who was possessed in 1947. Many of us feel like this is one of the best horror movies because it doesn't use cheap jump scares, any director can do that. This takes its time and lets those images and sounds sink into your head, and lets that dread feeling sink into your bones. (PS-- Forget Paranormal Activity... don't watch "Hereditary". It's the most disturbing thing I've seen since "The Exorcist".)

hahahha isn't that true?? i mean as a demon he or she wouldn't want an Angel coming for them for killing someone who cannot even take a gasp to see anything bad hahaha. that's my defense mechanism everytime I go out in the night

Marian's reactions to scary movies are the best! He said demons won't mess with him because they don't want to be blamed for scaring him to death. OMG LOL! You two are the best, thanks for another awesome reaction!

too be really honest.. i found this Movie more disturbing than Horror. the gore horrors have bad reputation for being banned all over the world... the jumpscares are more famous due to lack of gore in them.. but the gore ones makes u melt slowly and dive into something called ''question ur existence'' kind a thing.. is hard to digest the fact that (I am quite a believer) in such things... bcuz I (Marian) encountered many creepy stuff in my life... i will post my story here on Patreon for everyone to understand why I am affected badly from horror movies

LOL. I agree!

Paranormal Activity is my NO 1 no no for me.. (Marian typing..) I remember I watched it cuz everyone was praising it back then.. and I almost broke my chair.. i was single during that time.. no Joy.. and I had good Gaming Headset who could make me hear everything around me... watched it at 3 am ''cuz of the critics said so'' NEVER IN MY LIFE AGAIN!! i couldn't sleep.. i couldn't go to toilet.. NOTHING! and for the next two weeks bad bad BAD NIGHTMARES!!! my advice?? STAY AWAY FROM THAT ONE!

Congratulations, Marian! You have graduated the horror academy. ✌️ As an avid horror fan since I was a little kid, I’m not easily scared by movies. I find horror movies a lot fun, when they are well-made. I didn’t find “The Exorcist” particularly scary myself but I always appreciated how well it was produced and acted. And I understand why it creeps so many people out. I recommend another old classic horror film: “The Omen” (1976). Dont worry. There are no jump scares, at least what I can remember. 😁 But the Oscar-winning music alone is enough to creep you out.

Mr. Writhms

I watched the Intro and the Outro only. I am the cowardly lion. Paranormal Activity was the last scary movie for me. I couldn't sleep for 2 nights. Then I broke up with horror movies. Forever!
