2021-09-08 10:50:34 +0000 UTCI think Marian would especially enjoy the movie Downfall. It covers the last couple of weeks in Adolph Hitler’s bunker in Berlin. It is in German with English subtitles. It is excellent. The actor that plays Hitler is unbelievably good. He won a lot of praise.

2021-09-07 02:56:09 +0000 UTCThe Pianist will give you a view of the Holocaust from a personal level, a Jew in Poland, trying to survive; a true story. Schindler’s List is harder to watch, because it tells not only the true story of one German man, but also depicts the fate of all the Jews in Krakow, from their mandatory placement in the ghetto to their transportation to the concentration and extermination camps. Everyone should see it. Very bleak, but it does give you some hope.
