ohhh interesting! i think somehow they take big risks for adding small changes... cuz on the long run it will affect them. for example the way we see characters.. a small approach can change everything.. but is their project at end of the day.. we are here to spectate only. haha. thank you for your support!!

ohhh i see. never serched for the book for being afraid of the spoilers. i guess they try somehow to follow the feed of the fans and their view on the show.. they try to please the majority. is not bad for the budget but somehow in the long run they will regret not staying original.... it's a risk they take.. but at end of the day if you can't produce a project who will bring profit you will end up bankrupt. the same way we tried with reacting to games... we had the most income from reacting to God of War.. but either than that.. everything had low impact... that's what made us go for movies. thank you for your support!!

Emma already answered to the question of the book, but just a fun fact, as I have read the books (and thrilled that one day G.R.R. Martin continue to write it, it's not finished yet) before they made a show about it. I was waiting to see Daario Naharis appear in season 3 because in the books, he is described as "His curly hair reaches his collar, and he keeps his beard cut in three prongs. Daario dyes his hair and trident beard, sometimes in blue and other times in deep purple." (copy/paste from a wiki, as I am not so good in english), but unfortunately they choose to not have a character in the show with colored beard :) But as Emma said, even there are some differences with the books, the major lines are in the books and I found that the 4 first seasons are globally excellent. After, it was more complicated for the showrunners because some part were in the books, some parts were just told by the writer and some parts were just how they imaginated the story will continue. Without creating a debate, I'm more into the 4 first seasons than the others, but that's a good show anyway.

Up to this point most of the storylines stick to the main parts in each journey from the books. They do change details and each season adds more and more stuff that is not in the books. Examples I can think of is Arya never is with Tywin at Harrenhall, she’s with Roose Bolton instead but in the book and show she escapes, runs into the brotherhood who capture the hound who captures her. From what we see in this episode that I think are the same as the books are Petyr kills Lysa when she threatens Sansa after she sees him kissing Sansa. The Mountian and Oberyn are fighting as Cersei and Tyrion’s champion. Things I know are different Brienne and Pod never run into hotpie, Arya and the hound don’t meet that dying man, Arya doesn’t kill Rorge and the hound never tells Arya his story (only tells Sansa). I can’t remember what else happened in that episode but the show still hits the main story points at the end of the season so these changes don’t screw up the story but that might change. They just didn’t have time to go into detail like the book did. You’d need 20 seasons

The Mountain in the books and in the show (but it never goes into the Clegane backstory) is rumored to have killed his father and sister. Their mother is never mentioned but likely died in childbirth like most or just died when the children were young. Also the hound was burned when he was about 6/7 years old. He was playing with one of the Mountains toys but remember this the mountain is meant to be about 5 years older the hound which would have made him 12 and in the books he was a squire. He probably hadn’t played with toys in years but he got angry anyway. He had terrible pains which likely could be because of gigantism and these made him very violent and angry. He just saw Sandor in his way and lashed out. Sandor said to Sansa (book) that three men had to drag Gregor off him, Gregor was trying to kill him. Truly evil guy. Most of this is from the books and are not spoilers. It’s backstory that they don’t have time to show in the tv show so doesn’t give away anything that will happen

This is the third and last actor for Gregor Clegane (the mountain). The first actor Conan Stevens played Gregor in season 1 but was recast as he took up a role in Lord of the Rings. In season 2 Ian Whyte played him when he was at Harrenhall with Twyin. He was also recast, I can’t remember under what circumstances but he didn’t really fit the role. He was very tall but too skinny and not big muscled like the mountain should be. This is the first appearance of Halfthor Bjornisson (I butchered his name) and he will stay as the mountain. He is a bit too short to be the mountain but his body fits the bill. He is also way to young as be is about 25/26 years old here and Rory McCann (the hound) is about 45 years old in this season. The Mountain is meant to be the hounds older brother which I think should be remembered and is important. The mountain isn’t some annoying monstrous younger brother, he’s aruguably the most evil guy in Westeros who likely made the hounds life living hell since he can remember. I think Conan Stevens probably fits the role the best with his look and age.
