Ye Update

Obligatory I really need to get better about updating this thing statement goes here.

Work is continuing on the new game. Three of the four main cast members are now fully and finally implemented, with great artwork. Just have to do Daniel next, and then backgrounds.

Writing is continuing, a bit slower than I'd like since I am massively distracted by both games and health stuff. But that's very much the point of my retirement, to take things at my own pace. Kind of the antithesis of Patreon where people are expecting continual feeds of value, but at least I'm honest about it. I'm going to be doing a playable update of the game once the first of the new episodes is ready to go, with all new artwork and music assets in place. Far from complete but in a better state.

I am debating the overall structure of the game. Right now, there are two play throughs consisting of four episodes each, with their own ratings-specific finale episode. And then there's a third mini-play through, technically, but it's more of a combined effort grand finale kind of like the penny grand finale.

Another possible option is to have three shorter play throughs, one for low ratings and one for high and then one in which you combine your efforts in the finale. So basically like the other plan, but instead of two and then an epilogue, it's three total. I don't know if that would mess with the relationship driven aspect of the game, since in the last play through you would be limited to whatever episode you hadn't done yet which may not let you pair up Juno with a character of your choosing. There's a lot of considerations to make. But we're early. There's time.
