What about their looks are functional like for feeding and defense and what’s for attracting a mate? Like the bald head do the ladies like that or does it have another purpose?

2026-01-16 00:44:23 +0000 UTChow can one help increase the population in regions where they're native but not thriving? My example is the DFW metroplex. I know we have turkeys at the nature preserve I work at, but the estimated population is dangerously low, maybe 6-8 max!

Also— if male and female turkeys have differently shaped feces… what does this mean for categorization, ie, species anatomy, chemistry, or reproduction? As someone whose high school mascot was a turkey… I have questions…
