So the full screen cutscenes are something I had to make myself, AGS has nothing for that. Normally I have to count the number of frames each animation track is on screen (which unfortunately does not match the number of frames in the animation) and then manually switch it, but for the cutscene theater that math work was already done so its just about replicating it in a way that's clean. The non fullscreen stuff is very different, I have a specific character sit in the middle of the room and when you pick an animation he just kinda morphs into that character (or characters) and performs the animation. Sometimes the animation's tied to something in the room it was in so it needs extra help to function normally. I'm really happy you're looking forward to it! :D

Really looking forward to the cutscene theater!! As much as I love playing and replaying, it's always nice to get to my favorite scenes again when the itch desperately needs scratching. I'd love to hear a bit about how you're implementing that, especially on any background scenes that you're able to include! It sounds like a fascinating thing to implement
