Update

Hey guys! Unfortunately I'm having a bit of trouble with the plugin. (Working on it while dealing with a stomach bug can't be helping! XD ) So I need some more time before I can show it off. I'm not gonna leave you guys high and dry though.

I wanna show you guys my first conceptual design for Zap and Andy's casino level, and talk about how design for the game is changing.

I've convinced Blazingcheeks that we should stop developing the game chronologically. That is, stop 100% completing one level, then completing the next, and so on. To my knowledge, no game has been completed like this without some development trouble, and Z&A is no exception with me being either too swamped with finishing up a level to participate in the beginning stages of the design for the next or stuck with nothing to do because I'm waiting for one thing.

So! While waiting for the scenario and blocking for Circus scenes, I'm going to be working on the design of Casino Acheron!

Everything in this casino including the entrance fee requires you to bet or pay an aspect of your soul. You could win millions of dollars betting your literal dignity and self control at the roulette wheel. Or you could lose those and never have em again! Many humans come to this casino and lose their souls little by little in the pursuit of prizes and wealth!

...Unfortunately for Andy and especially Zap, this is their only way back to Earth since its a gateway between the two worlds. Human men just can't resist the allure of the prizes, or the otherworldly hypersexual staff...and the demon mascots with life like suits...and huge bulges...

As for the gameplay itself, I've proposed that Zap and Andy have to collect soul pieces in order to bet on the casino games, since its too risky to actually use their own souls. Winning at all the games will surely give them access to the elevator to the upper floors, where they can finally put their adventures behind them!
