Love In The Air Episode 9 (Full Reaction)

HI I WOULD LIKE TO PROTECT SKY WITH MY LIFE! I resonate so much with the trauma he's struggling with and how difficult it is to open your heart to someone new after being burned in the past.

I really appreciate how this couple is being handled. It's certainly miles better than how I felt about Rain and Payu. I still have my guard up because it's a MAME show and I don't think I'm ready to find out what the ex did for him to be so broken and scarred emotionally. But I'm for sure rooting for Sky to heal and be treated better!

Comments

hello! unfortunately i don't currently have plans to go back to them soon because I'm focusing on other shows, but I will try to get back to it this month. I've been curious how it ends but just it's just not as big a priority compared to newer shows right now.

When do you think you'll continue watching the rest of the episodes

ahh okay haha yeah i’ve heard it pronounced both ways but if an actor or crew member said it that way then it must be correct haha

I used to pronounce it as two syllables (Ma-me), but I’m pretty sure the way you’ve been saying it, just one syllable (Mame), is correct. I heard it pronounced that way by an actor or crew member in a behind footage clip at some point and adjusted my pronunciation.

The thing about Love In The Air the series is that it’s based on 2 separate books. Which is why the series is set up the way it is and although it makes sense it also leaves the viewers looking at it as one piece of work and making direct comparisons. As we discussed during the first few episodes the dynamic between Payu and Rain is a bit confusing especially if you aren’t in a dom/sub community to pick up on the signs. Rain and Sky are best friends but had two completely different lives Rain is the sheltered type who has probably had his parents taking care of all his problems all his life (the comment Payu made after Rain snuck into the race) where as that’s not the case for Sky, you can tell he’s been through some things. You can guess what his ex did to him without being told, and I’m not going to say until the show does but the things Sky has been through has traumatized him so where Payu was able to manipulate the naive Rain into playing his game, Prapai won’t be able to manipulate Sky as easily because he is jaded from his past. I hate using the word manipulate because it sounds so negative and I think despite how they started Payu and Rain are cute, but essentially that’s what it was and Payu even came clean in the end. Ok I’m over here in the comments and I haven’t even watched episode 8 yet… I’m sure I’ll be back once I catch up lol

WAIT okay I had no idea what the actors names are but I just looked it up lmao haha. Interesting. Wouldn't have guessed Peat is the oldest! He's so baby boy haha

Let the trauma begin And yes Mame really did a shitty job with the sound quality and i feel like it got worse in part 2 of the show The book you saw on the nightstand is the book that this part of the show is based on. I think one thing that really made it hard for me to believe in what peat is feeling, is the fact that he’s unable to cry. Like… he fake cries lmao. Did i still feel really mad and emotional at all the trauma he went through? Yes but it didnt hit as hard. Also Fort is sooo fine. Its so funny to think that hes the youngest of the 4 actors and peat is the oldest ahahhaha
