Jae Won is obviously putting up a wall because he's scared that Ji Hyun will get hurt again because of him. It's triggered the trauma and the guilt he had over his brother's death and feels like shutting Ji Hyun out is the only way to keep him safe.
But I'm positive that Ji Hyun is going to keep fighting for him. I don't think for one second that Ji Hyun believes he meant what he said about things between them meant nothing.
But Jae Won is going to have to work that out. He's going to have to work through his trauma and guilt in order to open himself up not only to Ji Hyun but also just in general being able to come out and be open about his sexuality.
Soooo much for the characters to push through but I'm excited to see how it unravels next week! WHAT DO YA'LL THINK I NEED YOUR THOUGHTS!!!

They're so use to all visuals and bare minimum plot and now we have a show with such beautiful storytelling and filmmaking and they can't appreciate it! Finally something with such beautiful depth and meaning and people are overlooking it just because they're impatient. Smh!! The depth and the realism and the storytelling is what we love the most about this show! It's beautiful and it's something that people really experience and go through!

2023-04-25 02:00:02 +0000 UTCI think it's mainly people (mainly on twitter that i saw) just completely overlooking and ignoring the mental health aspect of the story, wanting them to 'just be together' and 'not run circles around each other when we know they like each other' which I understand to a degree. However, Jaewon, is unwell, sick even, as we see not just in these two episodes but episodes prior to this, so, in my opinion, I'd find it distasteful if they just ignored the trauma completely and let them 'make up' immediately and get together essentially. Because that would disregard Jaewon as a character completely and all of the storytelling about his brother and how he's doing mentally, wouldn't have made sense. I wish more people actually paid attention to what the writers are trying to convey here (more than just the visuals even though i understand that lol the visuals are s t u n n i n g) because i think it opens so many wonderful and deep conversations about mental health <3

Yes it hurts to watch him hurt Jihyun but Jaewon himself is unwell you know. Thank you so much for this reaction guys! <333

I’d recommend the stage musical but that’s a bit more difficult to come by… the movie is excellent though and an absolutely essential piece of queer media. Definitely a must watch so please do. Maybe a reaction to it…?🤔😉
