HELLO ANGST!!!! Poor baby Ji Hyun is so confused T_T This show just does such a good job at making you feel everything the characters are feeling. They give you time to see the expressions on their face, time to soak in each awkward moment. Every detail tells a story, even down to their body language. When Jae Won sees Ji Hyun and his roomate in the cafeteria, he has his back turned to Ji Hyun and his attention is almost entirely just on his roomate. He's trying so hard to avoid him that he can hardly face him. The look on Ji Hyun's face after him and the other freshmans run into Yoon Woon and Jae Won also say so much. He looks back and is still so surprise and confused by Jae Won's coldness.

For us it really seems like Jae Won is dealing with some sort of internalized homophobia. He couldn't ignore his natural attraction and urges, but once he finally acted on them it made him hyperaware which has caused him to take a step back. I think that because he's well known and really looked up to and embraced by all the underclassmen, he's worried what everyone might think or say if he was gay.

And poor Ji Hyun is so innoncent and pure and he really doesn't know what to make of the situation! On top of having to deal with the unwanted attention from Ae Ri.

ALSO, THAT DAMN BARTNEDER NEESD TO LEARN KOREAN IF HE'S GOING TO HAVE A BUSINESS IN KOREA LIKE HELLO?????
